- Allegheny Highlands Council, Falconer, NY - Using dealer sponsors joining incentives Ed Shults Chevrolet
and Auto Group agreed to sponsor the purchase of the Pinewood Derby lunchbox/car kit joining incentive.
With the Regional discount, this had the same real appeal to the deal at a cost of only $0.75 per item.
The dealer only asked to have a label affixed to each kit acknowledging their sponsorship.
- Bucktail Council, DuBois, PA - Several Chevy dealerships in the council will be support centers on Joining Nights in the council.
New member applications from various locations will be turned in to district representatvies at the
dealerships instead of the usual locations (church, school, office).
- Chevy showroom - Pinewood Derby site - New Cub Scouts will be invited for a special "new membver"
Pinewood Derby to be held at a Chevy dealership showroom. New Cubs will receive their lunchbox/car kit along
with an invitation to race their car in a Chevy showroom.
